On the War on Terror

DISCLAIMER: I am not a religious scholar. The following are ONLY my opinions.

I am Tariq. Over the past few years I have been quietly watching events
unfold in the Middle East. Like most people around the world I was horrified by
the September 11th attacks. Those things that were done in the name of Islam
were wrong. But the aftermath and the actions of America have caused an even
greater evil. Let no one be mistaken- this IS a religious war, another
crusade! I can no longer be silent. To America I say this- you have become an
arrogant and dangerous bully and you must be stopped! Your actions have
nothing to do with the September 11th attacks. You deliberately abandoned
your search for Osama bin Laden to attack a sovereign nation. No doubt Sadam
Hussein committed many crimes during his lifetime, but it was not your
perogative to overthrow him. And although your media spreads your propaganda
that things are getting better, anyone living in Iraq would call you liars to
your face. Your war in Iraq has mobilized millions against you and it is only
going to get worse for you.

Osama bin Laden has already defeated you. The seeds of your destruction were
planted years ago and now the bitter fruit is starting to appear. Your society is starting to collapse upon itself. Your deficit has ballooned to trillions and your economy is entering recession. Unlike the first Gulf War where contributing countries helped pay, there is no one to foot the bill this time. How will you continue fighting this war, fight illegal immigration, save your crumbling infrastructure, care for your veterans, and prepare for those natural disasters that Allah is surely preparing in the future? You cannot. You have over-extended your resources. When Osama bin Laden said he would bankrupt America, did you think that was an idle, empty threat? It is true that your media mocked him in their propoganda, but now who is laughing? Surely Osama is since he must be wondering where are all the "brave" American soldiers who swore to bring him to justice? He has made a mockery of your justice system, your military, and your country.

But what of your republic, America? What of your secularism? You have
abandoned the principles of your forefathers who were determined to not repeat
the mistakes of the European powers. You are now ruled by a theocracy, a
militant Christianity which proclaims America's manifest destiny is to spread
"democracy" throughout the world. What your leaders really mean is to spread
its variant of Christianity and Capitalism that will fatten the wallets of
Halliburton and the private Christian army called Blackwater.

What of your rights, America, your so-called precious rights? You have
surrendered them just to gain a little safety, which is no more than an
illusion, I assure you. The things the Soviet Union did, the very things you
claimed you were against in the Cold War, you now do. To utter critism
against your Republican President is considered treason. He and that old
piss-pot Cheney have destroyed the Bill of Rights. And still you do not care.
As long as you are over-fed, can drive your SUVs, and engross your attention in
following the immoral actions of vapid celebrities, you could care less to
what is happening around you or the world.

Your country is ready to tear itself apart. Everytime I see a Fox News report
or read neocon propoganda I see a society entering the first stages of a civil
war. When you start portraying other members of your country as terrorists
and traitors because they are willing to take a stand against Christian
tyranny, it is only a matter of time before those forces begin to kill one
another. Empires fall not because of its external enemies, but from its
internal excesses. Allah does not suffer the arrogance of a villainous people lightly. You will eventually pay for each death you have caused in the name of your Christian God. Until then, I will join the fight. I am only one
man, but I will do what I can to contribute to your decline. In the meantime,
know that I'm not just a man who throws words about in a blog. I do and
have taken action. And my first strike was against Halliburton. How far did
I get into the network, Mr. Cheney? ;) Enjoy.
